Weather Policy

GGFC will always do its best to make the best decision for our players' and staff training and safety.

If we have to cancel due to weather, GGFC will send an email/text out to inform you that your session has been cancelled.

If you do not receive an email from GGFC then the session is ON.

*Please be sure to opt-in to receive texts and emails from your TeamSnap app.

Please DO NOT email or call administration simply due to the volume of correspondence we receive. We encourage you to reach out to your coach and/or team manager for any questions or clarifications regarding weather.

Coaches may decide to cancel once she/he gets to the field if she/he feels that it is not safe to play.

Practices: If we do have to cancel any practices due to weather, we will notify families 3 hours prior to the session so they can make any necessary schedule adjustments accordingly. Our teams will typically play if it is just rain and no freezing temperatures.
