Join us for the USSF Grassroots Coaching License Course for New Female Coaches on June 8 at the Pier 40 Rooftop Field!

This course, hosted by Gotham Girls FC in partnership with US Soccer, offers two exclusive opportunities: a 9v9 course and an 11v11 course, both designed for women aged 16 and above. We are thrilled to contribute to the professional development of female coaches in soccer and encourage you to help us spread the word!

We are excited to offer both courses on the same evening. This unique opportunity is open not only to our coaches, players, and parents at Gotham Girls FC but also to any females aged 16 and above who are not part of our club.

Completing either of these courses will qualify you for the upcoming USSF D License course we are preparing for the Fall. Stay tuned for more details about that!

If you have already taken one of the 9v9 or 11v11 courses, this is your chance to enroll in the other course, ensuring you are fully prepared for the D License course in the Fall.

Who should attend this course?
It is ideal for older teenage players, mothers, and any women interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the game of soccer, including its technicalities, and developing a greater appreciation for it. The course will also introduce the most up-to-date teaching methodology. Both grassroots courses are prerequisites for advancing to the USSF D License.

In the past, some of our U17-18 high school players have taken these courses and are now assisting with coaching at our club. Not only are they able to coach for us, but they can also coach for any local club in the country when they go off to college, proudly holding a USSF National and FIFA-recognized coaching license. We encourage all age-appropriate Pelada and Arsenal players to attend.
