- Encourage players to be on time, 15 minutes prior to practices and 45 minutes prior to games
- Ask for parent volunteers for field set up for home games
- Ask for parent volunteers for halftime snack (younger teams)
- Ask for parent volunteers for potential car pooling for away games
- Remind parents/players to bring BOTH colors of shirts to games. White is typical for home and black for away but can be dependent on what color the opposition shows up in.
Game Day
Things to have at the game: Rosters (or Player Cards depending on the league requirements), Medical Forms, and First Aid Kit
- All teams playing must have copies of their Roster and ID Cards on hand at games. Dirk Kaufman will email the rosters on Thursday or Friday each week. The PDF of ID Cards can be reprinted as necessary. On game day, bring three copies of the Game Day Roster (one for ref, one for the opponent if requested, one for backup), and one copy of the ID cards (for ref).
- Please be sure to have all of your players’ medical waivers on hand in case of an emergency.
- Bring First Aid kit to have on site
Field Set Up & Breakdown
- If your team is the first team scheduled for a game on a given field, you will need to get the corner flags and any other game related equipment from our GGFC bin at Pier 40. Please contact your coach for the bin code.
- Teams playing the last game are responsible for returning the flags and any other equipped used. The combination to the lockers will be given to you at the start of the season. The container must always be locked.
