Hats off to GGFC U12 Bulldogs Lili and Victoria for making the New York State ODP North team!!

They join 23 of the strongest players in their age group, all selected for their skills, attitude, athleticism and potential. According to the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, State ODP aims to enhance the development of young players "to increase their chances of being identified and selected for regional, and national soccer teams."

For other Gotham Girls considering ODP -- here is what the program states as its benefits:

• Further development as a player. Forwards will taught how to be better forwards; midfielders will taught to be better midfielders, defenders will taught to be better defenders and keepers will be taught to be better keepers. 
•  Quality instruction from nationally-licensed coaches. 
•  Exposure to regional and national team coaches 
•  The opportunity to represent one’s state, region, or country in competition. 
•  At the oldest age groups, exposure to college coaches.
