GGFC Players Advance in the HS Playoff Season!

Gotham Girls press on in PSAL Playoff season! Stuyvesant (Shivali Koorgaonkar) put on a clinic against Fort Hamilton and won their game 4-0. They now will advance to the Sweet 16 where they play Susan Wagner HS today. LaGuardia High School (Dani Berman) looks to play Tottenville after they won in a close game 2-1 on Saturday. Lastly, Brooklyn Tech (Caitlin Correia, Macy Fuhrer, and Alum Mason Lava) finally gets to come to the field for their first playoff game today after their first round bye. Dalton Girl

GGFC Teams Play in Parsippany Pride

This past weekend we had four of our GGFC teams compete in the Parsippany Pride Tournament! It was an opportunity for Cruziero, Flamengo, Zamba, and Arsenal to travel New Jersey and compete with teams outside of WYSL. It was exciting for our U11 Cruziero team to get to experience their first tournament ever! The competition at the tournament challenged them in new ways that the team could learn from and use towards the rest of the WYSL season. August 5, 2019 Just a couple weeks ago Gotham Girls FC had two of our teams - Arsenal and Pelada - travel to Denmark to compete in Dana Cup! Dana Cup Hjørring started in 1982 and in 2019 they held the 38th tournament. In 1982, 222 participated teams and today they welcome more than 1,100 teams each summer.
